Nikolia was easy to work with and thorough. She delivered everything we asked for in a timely manner (from answering questions, booking interviews and transcribing) and on the ground accompanied us as an excellent guide, fixer and translator. Highly recommend. We've also used Nikolia as shooter, which she gets high marks for.

Iakovos Apergis is not your typical chef. He’s got to cook 1,000 meals per day to a crowd in pyjamas - the sick of the Tzanio Hospital in Athens. The 43-year-old chef Apergis decided to become Tzanio’s cook after his mother was hospitalised at Tzanio and complained about the horrible hospital food before she died.

The past year, the fishermen of Lesbos have helped save hundreds of refugees and migrants, during their desperate journey from Turkey to Greece.

I travelled to Bodrum, Turkey, to find hundreds of people waiting to cross from Turkey to Greece. The smugglers would come pick people up in the evening to take them to the beaches where they'd get on dinghies. There's no other way to safely get to Europe, other than pay a smuggler. I haven't seen anyone from the people I interviewed in Bodrum, make it to Kos. Hopefully they're all safe.
