I'm a very experienced AP/reporter with lots of casting experience. Over the past three years, I have been both the AP/reporter for an award-winning hour-long Dispatches documentary on radicalisation, presented and produced 3 highly successful BBC Three documentaries on drugs and social issues, and was onscreen host for a Vice News documentary, as well as joining a small team of scientists and presenters for a BBC 4 90-minute science special. I now want to extend my range by producing, presenting and reporting across a number of genres, trading on my strengths in finding stories, casting, developing relationships with people from all walks of life and bringing an open, humorous, empathetic and ballsy approach to everything I do.
I was the onscreen reporter for a major long-term Dispatches investigation, about female British ISIS supporters, investigating a world which was extremely difficult to penetrate. Tx Nov 2015
Generating, producing, casting and reporting across all short form content for BBC3, I made two documentaries for its landmark series, 'Drugs Map of Britain', and also developed, pitched and made a film about young people getting sterilised which rated incredibly well. I also carried out general AP-ing and casting on other in-house docs as well as doing some voiceover work for the channel.
Documentary looking at young people who have left Islam and suffered persecution, harassment and ostracisation as a result, including following a young girl escaping from Saudi and joining the refugee exodus all the way to Germany. It was an idea, which I originated, gaining access to the characters over a period of months, prior to commission. Tx Date Jan 2016.
