About Maxim

Maxim Sarychau is a photographer and multimedia producer, lives and work in Minsk, Belarus. He works on long-term documentary and art photography projects. He experiments with new forms of visual storytelling at the edge of photography and video. From 2011 working on personal projects and on freelance basis for local and foreign media: Gare de l'Est (FR), P3 (PT), Russian Planet (RU), Timer (BY), Kalidor (BY). His multimedia and photography works were exhibited on many international festivals (Vilnius Photo Circle, Photovisa, Warsaw Open Days, Slideluk Istambul). In 2015 he was awarded with Grand-Prix on Belarus Press Photo contenst.

    No one knows how the red male dog named Lloyd lost two legs: one front and one rear. A week later someone noticed Lloyd on the city outskirts of Minsk (Belarus) and informed animal protectors. I followed fate of Lloyd for half a year after the accident and witnessed things happened to him:long-term therapy, fund-collecting for food and medical treatment, moving from home to home.
