About
Don Shepard (USA b.1959) is an award winning photographer living and working in the United States. He's a visionary and an explorer. A photographer of people, places and things. He's rapt with the desire to create honest imagery that transcends time. Educated in forensic and medico-legal photography, Don developed his craft during a career as a law enforcement detective, producing thousands of images used in the prosecution of violent crimes. He retired in 2009. Don is a vetted member of the Kansas City chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and the Chicago chapter of the American Photographic Artists (APA), both of which hold their members to the highest creative and professional standards. He has produced images for national publications including Million Dollar Round Table, Golf Digest, Scientific American and others.
