James is an Ecuadorian born filmmaker. Among many other short films he directed and produced Taught to Hate (2009), which screened on numerous festivals and won several awards, among them the prestigious Imagen Award for Best Theatrical Short Film. James is CEO of Mi Ecuador Productions, through which he intends to reach the Latin community in the US. James studied in the Art Center College of Design and the School of Visual Arts.
