About

As a freelance director and cinematographer, I specialize in character-driven storytelling for documentary, branded and corporate content. It’s humans that bring purpose, emotion and colorful details to each story. I love connecting with all kinds of people – finding the elements that build their story, fine-tuning characters and scenery when necessary. My approach is adaptive, allowing me to dive into wildly different subjects, ranging from Olympic windsurfing to warehouse logistics and migrants in Africa. In recent years I worked with clients such as Amazon, StoryTel, Foam Museum, Videoland, Booking.com and UN Migration (IOM). My work has been selected for film festivals, public TV and on demand platforms. As the founder of Story Collective, I’m also directing a team of talented creatives, producing TV commercials, branded and corporate content. We work with many agencies in Amsterdam as well as directly for brands. Do you want to tell tour story well?
