About

Hi, I’m Barnaby Riggs a filmmaker with a track record in Directing, shooting and editing sports documentaries, events, branded content and project management working in multiple cities and environments all-around the world. Recently my work with Nike shooting ethnography documentaries has exposed me to these multiple people, talents and environments all of which I capture and produce on a regular basis. Often I work in one of two ways. Either as a solo filmmaker covering every aspect of the process, or working in a larger team for more complex productions. My passion is to work on projects from start to finish. Working out the concepts in prep to get to the core of the message and really iron out tone, texture and style before we are in the heat of a shoot. I pride myself on my technical ability but also my ability to adapt to changing and fast paced location shooting. Working with new people and capturing their story through the lens is something I relish. My creative side is then further revealed in the edit.
