To put it briefly, I am a photojournalist and editorial photographer at heart. Being a photojournalist gives you a license to be curious about all things. It's all about the people and their stories. There is nothing I love better than going out on an assignment, being able to illustrate a good story, and then seeing those photos in print or on the web. I get an indescribable high from it every time. Every day in this biz is a new adventure. And you're only as good as the picture in today's paper. I have been a staff photographer at 4 different daily newspapers, but I've freelanced and had my work featured in publications across the country. I shoot news video for First Coast News, the Tegna affiliate in Jacksonville, Florida in addition to my still photography work. I cover a wide variety of stories with and without a reporter. A lot of what I do is transmitted to the station as it is happening.
