I'm a video journalist / shoot-edit based in Johannesburg, ZA. I have worked extensively across Africa for the BBC and a number of NGO's. At the BBC, I worked primarily for their business magazine shows, Talking Business Africa, In Business Africa and Africa Business Report, presented by Lerato Mbele-Roberts. I have been the shoot / edit for a number of BBC's special features such as "Working Lives: Mauritius" and "On My Street". I also work for some domestic agencies such as MNET ("Carte Blanche"), eTV ("The Devi Show") and TimesLive.
Malawi has one of the highest rates of child marriage in the world. It's estimated that 47% of women and girls are married before the age of 18. IPPF member association, Family Planning Association of Malawi (FPAM), is teaming up with social workers and local community leaders, to help end child marriage.
