F5WC is the largest amateur 5-a-side football tournament in the world. The idea was to remind players of the freedom and camaraderie they once felt on the football pitch - enticing them to enter a team to win the chance to represent their country at the fives football world cup in China.

It was a year long project mapping out South Africa’s landscape with Google - 170 hiking trails, 900km on foot, 50 000km by car, 6 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, 19 national parks & countless life-changing encounters with the 567 South Africans who helped along the way. The challenge was to carve out & craft a compelling 5min story from 500+ hours of footage.
