I have been an avid experimenter of new forms of visual storytelling for my entire career. My passion is finding new ways to tell stories about the most complex global challenges facing our world today. I’ve worked on films in Hollywood, covered elections and conflicts as a multimedia journalist for the Associated Press, and served as the CEO of a business that produced global stories for social impact. I have always pursued projects that educate, inspire and build bridges across communities and cultures. Stories that call attention to our shared humanity bring us closer together.

What would you hold onto if you were forced to flee home? – I led filming on a video for UNICEF Iraq to help raise awareness about internally displaced men, women and children. Conflict has driven over 3.3 million Iraqis from their homes. We brought together internally displaced family members and asked what they remember and miss most about their homes.

When George Lucas finished filming Star Wars: Episode 1 in Tunisia, he decided to leave behind and intact the new sets and several that had also been used in the original Star Wars. Now the sets have been renovated and there is a new hope that the locations will breath new life into a sector that was decimated after the country became known as the birth place of the ‘Arab Spring.’
Produced a series of documentary shorts on Energy Poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa, with funding from the ONE Foundation. The work was featured on Mashable, the Huffington Post and other outlets.

On Lesvos island, we filmed refugees who had fled Syria and other locations in the hope of rebuilding their lives. The short film was produced for the International Rescue Committee. End narration by IRC Voice Lena Headey.
