I'm a freelance journalist specializing in travel, food, outdoor/adventure and environmental reporting. My educational background is in broadcast news, but my contacts and love of writing led me to editorial world. Writing has always been my strength, but with my television and radio background, I'm always looking for ways to layer different elements (sound, photos, video) into my stories. My broadcast news foundation gives me a competitive edge in the freelance world, as I've been incorporating these elements into my print stories for several years.
