About Florian
Director of Photography specialised in documentary filmmaking. 1984 born and raised in Austria, his interest in cinematography roots in his experience as a documentary photographer. Following two years at the “Graphische” in Vienna, where he specialized in photography, and a B.A. in Film Studies at the University of Vienna, he moved to Berlin to study cinematography at the German Film and Television Academy (dffb). The work of Florian Wurzer has been awarded and screened at numerous international film festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival, Entrevues Belfort, Max Ophüls Film Festival, Diagonale Graz, Interfilm, Achtung Berlin Film Festival and the Indian Cine Film Festival among other.
