Clàudia Amaral, from Viseu, Portugal, began to show some of the telltale signs of Progeria at just four months old. With the life expectancy for girls with Progeria being just 14 years old, Clàudia has already exceeded the predictions of doctors. Story of Jetha - a blacksmith from the backstreets of Kathmandu, Nepal. A story of mastery, skills, and heritage. A story of a kukri knife maker. The traditional way of making an authentic Nepali kukri knife - a historical weapon of the Ghurka soldiers and a symbol of Nepali heritage. Although it appears to be floating on the Mediterranean, Maiden’s Castle sits on a tiny island off the coast of Kizkalesi, Turkey. The structure dates back to the 12th century, but no one knows who constructed the ancient relic. Many tell a legend, however, involving a Byzantine king, his daughter and a fortune teller’s frightening prediction. Trucks in Pakistan are driving works of art. Called ‘jingle trucks’ for the hundreds of bells decorating the truck, they become a jewel in the crown of its owner – willing to spend up to $2500 for the makeover – up to a third of a yearly salary. The truck art is significant on many levels, as it transcends the history, culture, heritage, art forms of expression and a drivers love to his truck.
