About
I am a self-taught motion designer and video editor with a background in film and TV production. Throughout my career I’ve worked mainly in the field of news and journalism, exploring design and animation through the lens of social media. I focus mainly on 2D/3D design, hoping to one day tell powerful visual stories through motion graphics and animation. Current tools are Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D and Redshift. Past clients include The Huffington Post, Meredith Corporation, Netflix, Mic, IMGN Media, among others. In 2018, I won a Webby Award and People’s Voice Award for Mic’s Lighting Black Faces in HBO's "Insecure". Currently I am a Senior Designer at The Recount, managing a post-production team, bridging the gap between editorial, business strategy and design.
