Photographer and journalist based in London, interested in all photographic and writing assignments that are related to culture, travel, politics, religion, migration, and economic trends. Combining contextual analysis with grassroots human stories, my reportage is visually engaging and intellectually stimulating. With knowledge of Arabic, a substantial amount of my reportage has centred on North Africa, covering issues such as human rights, women’s rights, migration and political revolutions. As a trained Economist, I am also well-versed in writing stories interrogating economic trends, finance and socioeconomic issues. With regards to photography, my reportage varies from on-the-spot news to documentary features. As a photography teacher at the British Red Cross Destitution centre, I have experience working with vulnerable people and refugees, connecting with each other via photography and storytelling.
