Hello there my name is Pete Sands. I am a filmmaker with my own small film company and crew called "SidewinderTV". I am based in Ogden, UT, but I hail from the Navajo-Indian reservation and I learned a lot of film making skills from Weber State University. I shot some small short films to learn how to setup shots and direct. Last year we started conducting interviews with artists and musicians that we found to be interesting and unique. I also filmed some music videos for my own and one for another musician.

We are hired by the Slamdance Film Festival 2016 in Park City, UT. We covered the Red Carpet presence of all the filmmakers and actors this year. We were actually the first indigenous film crew at the film festival.

We had been invited to attend and film the Indian Market at the Heard Museum 2016 in Phoenix, AZ. So while we were there we ran into Jacob Meders and he had such an impressive story so we decided to interview him . He is the first in the series we started called "The Real Indian Outlaws". about indigenous individuals who are committed to change.

I had the chance to open up for one of my all time favorite musicians of all time in Salt Lake City, UT, last year. I knew it was a long shot, but I asked him if I could interview for an episode of SidewinderTV.

The very first episode of SidewinderTV we featured my good friend Kevin Kirk, the owner of the legendary Heavy Metal Shop. We chatted about his beginnings and how he started with the shop. He's had numerous legendary musicians that came through his shop.

I had been informed by FNX (First Nations Experience) an Indigenous TV channel to make a video that informed the audience about BLACKKISS and what I stood for. So I went back to the Navajo reservation and shot the video and dubbed it from an interview I had with Native Entertainment Magazine.
