My name is Vanessa Lamsvelt and I'm a freelance television and radio correspondent based in London, UK. I'm originally from the Netherlands and am the UK correspondent for RTL Dutch TV (www.rtlnieuws.nl). I've been working in broadcasting for 10 years, starting as a desk editor in the newsroom, working as a producer in New York, subsequently working in the Netherlands as a reporter for a human interest programme and then as an economics reporter for the news and now as the UK correspondent in London. I research, produce, film and edit the stories myself. I film on a Sony HVR-Z5E and edit on FCP. Besides tv I also do live interviews on Dutch national radio.
