Hi there! I'm Maggie. I'm a freelance photojournalist, reporter, and video producer based in Lagos, Nigeria. When reporting, I focus on intersections between human rights, healthcare, migration, and the changing environment. I've reported from across Africa, Palestine, Italy, and the United States. I've been published by VICE World News, Reuters, The Telegraph, The Lily/Washington Post, Mongabay, The New Humanitarian, The Solutions Journalism Network, and others. I frequently freelance for various nonprofit organizations in addition to my work for news organizations. I'm originally from New York, and graduated from Temple University in 2017 with a B.A. in Journalism. I am HEFAT certified by Global Journalism Security, am a fellow with the International Women's Media Foundation, and was a student at the 32nd Eddie Adams Workshop.
