About

I`m Gaby de Saboya, German by birth and Brazilian by citizenship. I love my work as a journalist, filmmaker, and actress. My academic training has also been multidisciplinary and through it Ive also gained much experience in the areas of art, culture, and community activities. My academic curriculum includes a Master degree in Theater, Post Graduate degree in TV Journalism, Graduate courses in Journalism. Right now I work as an anchorwoman and TV reporter at Rio TV Camara. I have also produced the documentary Theater in Places that Lived Under War in Hanoi in VietNam. As a director I worked in documentaries for the Seminar 40 Years of 68 and the Long Documentary Carnival, Funk and Umbrella, exhibited in Brazil and Italy. I Would like to participate because I want to improve my skills as a reporter and filmmaker. Besides, my multicultural interest would be more than gratified if I could experience the energetic working environment at this community. Rio de Janeiro, my city, has been suffering great transformations in the urban and humanitarian areas. And I believe that my contact with you will help me to increase my view of myself, of my work and of my city.
