Niloufar Zabihi (b.1993) is a freelance Filmmaker and Video Artist based in London, She grew up in Tehran, Iran and move to UK when she was 19. In 2016 she graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University’s Art School with a BA in Filmmaking. She started working in documentary field when she was studying video production in college, back in 2011. The flow of her work is based on character’s childhood and all the conflicts that it brings, as it lays the basis and foundation for the rest of the character to grow on and most of it is usually hidden from our adult mind.

Rainbow is a double screen short film which shows portraits of three individuals in Tehran capital of Iran, who speak of their childhood while living daily lives at their home or in the city.
Five individuals are in this video installation and they are talking about the first thing that comes to their mind about childhood. Some of them start telling a good memory, but the question reminds the other ones something more than a memory
Parima is an Iranian painter and artist who lives in London. This documentary starts with her childhood and it continues to show her journey as a painter. For making this film I had interviews with her family and one of her Art school teachers in Iran.
