Dan is a three-time Emmy Award Winner, winning regional Emmys in Atlanta for his work as Executive Producer of The Savage Report. He has produced for ABC Good Morning America, NBC Today Show, CBS This Morning, Discovery ID, The Doctors and other nationally syndicated programs. Dan also worked as a News Director, Executive Producer, Reporter and Anchor in markets around the U.S. before starting his own media solutions company that focuses on video production, editing, copywriting, web development, digital marketing and media relations.
This story captured the mission of Charleston Animal Society by showing the story of one dog, rescued many years ago after it had been shot. We visited the dog and family and reunited them with the rescuers.
Traveled to Dubai, Qatar and Saudi Arabia for this in-depth documentary on an enemy combatant who was held in a Charleston Navy Prison, with no access to attorneys and no court date on the horizon. We interviewed the subject's family and spoke with former a US Attorney for context on why the legal system treated him in this manner. Handled all aspects of video production, producing and editing.
Spoleto Festival USA hired me for the unique job of producing a 6-camera shoot of the famous American Opera Porgy & Bess. Our job was to not only shoot the opera, but simulcast it live to an outdoor park in downtown Charleston to a large jumbotron screen. I produced the entire project including the procurement of all equipment and manpower.
