Hidden deep in the woods of the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is a small cluster of unusually pale, phantom trees. These “ghost trees” are albino and extremely rare. Out of the roughly 400 albinos in the world, there are 13 in the park. Due to threats to their ecosystem, only a select few people know of the trees’ exact locations. Dave Kuty is one of them.
