Rodrigo is an award-winning director whose films have screened in over 40 festivals around the world, winning multiple jury awards and garnering great reviews. Recently, his documentary “Purgatorio” was broadcast by World Channel on PBS nationwide. Recently, his narrative “Lupe Under the Sun” won a Special Jury Award at the 2016 Los Angeles Film Festival. Raised between Mexico City and California, Rodrigo was named one of the 25 New Faces of Independent Film and has received the support of Sundance Institute, Tribeca Film Institute, both the IFP Narrative and Documentary Labs, as well as the California Council for the Humanities and the Mexican Film Institute. He specializes in documentary and fiction, as well as socially-conscious branded content.
