Refuse Reclaimed is a photo documentary and also a photobook. This series shows the the landscapes of what was once old landfills and the people who now interact with this space where millions of tons of waste is just below their feet. Hong Kong is running out of space for its waste and faces some serious decisions to be made in a few short years.
In an orchestrated environment, individuals were invited to step out of their self-identified sexualities while their unrehearsed everyday activities as ‘couples’ were recorded. By documenting their unscripted interactions, this project seeks to raise public awareness of the contemporary spectrum of sexualities.
Farrago explores the connection between movement, creation, destruction and evolution. As societies and landscapes evolve and change there are points when things come to a completion or will be created.
