About
I'm a Portuguese with a Master Degree in Documentary Cinema in Universidad del Cine, Buenos Aires, Argentina. My first film is about a group of squatters in Porto, Portugal, featured at DocLisboa 2012 (International Documentary Film Festival) in the Cinema de Urgência Section (Urgent Cinema). My second short film won best film in the competition of New Cinema in Porto/post/Doc International Film Festival in Porto, Portugal. It was also screened in festivals around the world, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. My stories are mostly related to topics about politic and economical situations, the position of people against the austerity imposed under the south European countries, travelling and the world in general.The second part of my activity is related to experimental video and live visuals. I've also studied journalism. I really like to give a creative visual touch to my pieces while working with what is more authentic.
