I'm a Myanmar-born, Myanmar-based reporter specialising in Myanmar-related news and current affairs, with a bit of Asia-Pacific experience to add. As a multimedia reporter, I'm passionate about storytelling in all forms and narratives. After more than 30 years travelling the world and living in Samoa, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland and the Netherlands, it is exciting and a privilege to be able to come full circle, back to Myanmar. I'm the Myanmar stringer for CNN digital and am producing content for Al Jazeera regarding recent student protests. I've freelanced for The GlobalPost, The Edge Review (Malaysia and regional), SBS and ABC (Australia), as well local press (The Myanmar Times, Mizzima Media).
