A three-year-old girl's head has doubled in size due to a rare disease that has caused a build up of fluid on the brain.Reshmi Marak, from a small village in India, urgently needs medical assistance but her family are too poor to pay for it. She has hydrocephalus, which left untreated can cause permanent brain damage, blurred vision, difficulty walking, learning disabilities and can even be fatal.

Geeta Mahour, 40, and Neetu, 26, were horribly disfigured when Inderjeet Mahour, 60, drunkenly poured acid on his wife and daughter as they slept. He also targeted his younger daughter Krishna, who subsequently died, in the attack in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
