About Ryan

I make beautiful images. I discover meaning within a brand, product or service and illustrate this meaning via design, animation and visual effects. I graciously create art for both the world of commerce and the world in general. As such, when I agree to execute a project I am fully committed to serving both my client and the project itself in the hope of bringing something positive to the world. I give ya butterflies in your tummy. That’s what I do. I’m a designer, animator, VFX artist, hubby and dad residing just outside Austin, Texas. A Texas native, my early inspirations were drawn from the raw power of nature and the ancient stories of medieval and Greek mythology. Classically trained at the Academy of Art in San Francisco with a degree in Computer Art, I am an expert Motion Designer with Graphic Design, Illustration, 3D Design/Animation, Compositing and Video Editorial being the main disciplines of my creative process. When not on the box or behind the pencil, I cycle, game and clean up after glorious homemade meals. I take pics, geek over gadgets and delight in the wonder of my family.

  • Dell Tech World

    • Motion Graphics Designer

Partnering with Mahalo Digital, I was given the opportunity to work on a small slice of Dell’s annual technology summit for 2018. The content was expected to show how Dell’s Smart Tickets enabled event goers to better experience a large and complex area like a football tournament and how this experience could exist inside and even outside the stadium.

    • Motion Graphics Designer

Every once in a while a project comes along that not only gets you excited but that you’re also available to work on. I was thrilled when Indian Motorcycle’s marketing agency, The Brand Amp, requested a series of videos to show off Indian’s new FTR 1200. This bike was a big deal for Indian in that it would be a continuation of the successful FTR line and an actualization of the warmly received FTR

  • Knowbly sizzle

    • Motion Graphics Designer

Knowbly is a well designed brand and their octopus (I forget the lil guy’s name) was a fun element to bring to life. Like many projects, this one started out with the expectation of it being one thing but it ended up becoming something else. Knowbly had the courage to go with a somewhat raucous soundtrack and the result was an engaging piece that leaves you curious for more.
