About

I currently work in television as a production coordinator, in the documentary department. I've been working in the world of journalism, editing, animation and documentary both in print and film for the past three years after finishing my masters in documentary journalism at NYU J-School. In addition to my "day-job" I'm working on two independent docs. I'm interested in the grey spaces that exist between cultures, and the aspects of humanity that are able to cross the borders of age, race, gender, language, and sexual orientation. I'm interested in global citizenship, international development, representation in media, and exploring the importance of image creation. My projects focus on cultural ownership, changing or losing cultural traditions, and stories that come out of the African Diaspora.
