Hi! I’m a portuguese documentary DP, editor and all-around content creator based in Lisbon, Portugal. I’ve worked professionally for 10+ years for video production companies based in Europe and the US. My latest freelance assignments include documentary and video-journalism work for clients such as Euronews, Voice of America, Culture Trip and Zoomin.tv. I’m completely at ease both working as a one-man-band in a run-and-gun scenario (camera, audio and lights, flying drones), or with a small crew on a well thought-out shoot. I thrive on fast-paced projects where efficient and quick decision-making is crucial, it’s where most of my experience lies. As a part-time musician and self-taught sound engineer, I also know that sound quality is critical for any production. I’m a certified English language user, which I speak and write as fluently as my mother tongue, Portuguese. I’m always up for a challenge, let’s make something good!

"Vamos Juntas" was a protest and civil disobedience action promoted by a portuguese climate justice collective Climaximo on november 18, 2021. The activists advocate for a just transition in the Sines Oil Refinery (Portugal's most polluting infrastructure), one that ends production of fossil fuels and secures green jobs for the current workers. I shot and edited this whole piece in 24h.

Storytrail was a series of video city guides that told quirky and lesser-known stories of cities around the world like Rome, London, Lisbon, Los Angeles, New York or San Francisco. As Storytrail's chief filmmaker from 2015 to 2017, I travelled from city to city to shoot and edit over 500 short stories told by the host Jason Pascoe.
