About Mariano

15+ year experienced director, producer, cinematographer, editor and photographer, working mainly in documentary features, international news gathering services, NGO campaigns, as well as commercial, corporate and short fiction films. I provide production, filming and editing services for companies such as BBC, NHK, Press TV, Discovery, The Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, Central China Television, Turner, as well as for universities and non-profitable organisations such as Greenpeace, International Labour Organisation, University of Canberra, Auburn City Council, Fundación Bunge y Born, Australian Student Environmental Network. I also traveled to Syria on 2015 to follow the path of destruction left on several cities. Some of those pictures appeared on the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper in Australia. I speak fluent Spanish, English and Portuguese.

    I worked on two videos for a big technology company from Ushuaia, Argentina, called Newsan, which designs and builds tvs, cellphones, appliances and multimedia devices for many brands from around the globe, including LG, Pioneer, Noblex, Sanyo, Philco, and others. I produced, directed, shot, edited and sound designed both videos.

    I shot this video for Converse for their global campaign "Wall to Wall". This was the Buenos Aires city video, shot with local artist Santiago Cabaio.

    Gwenyth Todd, former consultant for the White House and Pentagon, was suddenly fired from her job and persecuted by the FBI after she sent notice to the White House of an illegal maneuver of a US Navy ship in the Iranian Sea, which, could have set the spark for an international armed dispute between the two countries, with unpredictable consequences. She currently lives in Australia, where she had to flee right after she was forbidden the entrance to the US base situated in Bahrein, where she was working, and living, with her husband and kids.
