I specialise in creating authentic, human-focused documentary content; both long & short form. My visual style is considered & gentle with a sensitivity for finding natural beauty in unstructured moments. Over the years I've travelled the globe & worked on some incredible projects, most notably on the Emmy award-winning project 'The Forger' for The New York Times, and multiple award-winning music doc 'Charles Bradley: Soul of America'. Most recently I worked on some additional photography for 'The Great Hack', now showing on Netflix. As a shooting-director I encourage verité scenarios within which to roam freely, focusing on found moments to provide an honest & engaging viewing experience whilst keeping the integrity of character at the heart.

Stu's work on this story was truly exceptional. He possesses the right temperament for earning the character's trust very quickly, can HUSTLE hard AND shoot/deliver a beautiful film. He worked on this story for us for 36 hours almost without a break, and accommodated all my edit requests very swiftly. Truly a gem of a filmmaker.
