Aïda Grovestins (Dutch), independent video and photo journalist and filmmaker in Senegal, West-Africa - News reports, NGO films and documentaries. “I shoot, edit and produce video, photography & radio for news, features and documentaries. I am based in Senegal since 2012 and continue to travel between West Africa and Europe for assignments. I work regularly together on projects with a local camera crew.” Clients: Al Jazeera, Deutsche Welle, France24, USAID, ICRC, OXFAM, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Institut Français Dakar, Newshound Media, BirdLife, DOEN Foundation, Dutch Public broadcasting channels (NTR, VPRO, Radio-1, RNW) Before 2012 I have been working as a freelance News and Current Affairs desk editor for Dutch TV and Radio programs, like NTR, NCRV, RNW, VPRO. My last documentary film (film director/ producer/ researcher) is ‘Quitte le Pouvoir’ ('Step Down') (2014).
