I am a multi-media producer/director/writer with a specialty in docs. My best known work is as co-producer of HBO Documentary Film's HEROIN: CAPE COD, USA, working one-on-one with Oscar-winning director Steven Okazaki for 18 months. (nominated for CINEMA EYE HONORS 2017) I'm also a media strategy consultant and social impact producer. Recent SIP credits are HBO docs WARNING: THIS DRUG MAY KILL YOU and RISKY DRINKING. My background is in journalism, documentary filmmaking, writing, and photography. I've worked extensively in Indian Country, and have worked a wide range of situations, from traveling press during the Obama '08 campaign to filming a doc in Maidan during the Ukraine revolution. I have worked for many years in media and public policy, and specialize in the use of film/media as a means for positive social impact. I recently went back to graduate school to earn my Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2011 and then spent three years as a research Fellow at Harvard's Carr Center for Human Rights Policy. Post-graduate studies included a year of documentary film (sensory ethnography) at Harvard Visual and Environmental Studies (VES) with Robb Moss and Alfred Guzzetti.

Lise was exceptional; we hired her to film and conduct an interview. We felt confident in her professionalism to represent us to the interviewer, and her work was very good quality. She's thorough on set, asking good follow up questions and really helping our interview subject become comfortable in the setting and give us great answers. She's also very responsive in communications with us during pre and post stages of production. Highly recommend Lise.

Lise filmed and conduct an interview on our behalf, as well as some b-roll. I felt like she really went the extra mile to make sure we got good answers from our subjects or got some good b-roll shots of activities she found additionally interesting. She didn't have to do that for us, but she did! And she was so positive and enthusiastic, too — it made for an all-around fantastic working experience with Lise.

I then orchestrated the world premiere in Boston, hosted by MA Gov. Charlie Baker, and the Capitol Hill premiere with the support of The White House, the Surgeon General, and Members of Congress.
