About Ivan
As a professional video journalist, I'm interested in storytelling, well told stories, no matter what the topics are. Mostly focused on society, culture and science, I've been working as an independent video and audio content producer for third-parties, either for media and press (ex., correspondent in Portugal BBC Mundo, or missions to international sport events), and at the same time, particular clients who request a full service to myself, wether in Portugal or anywhere abroad. I am ready to hunt for a story to be told.

At the present time, 2022, former Journalist and Content Producer , I'm focused on creating, directing and editing audiovisual content requested from international medias.
I manage independent projects, produce content in Art and some Cultural Events and directed two feature-length documentaries as an author. A life-long filming-while-traveling experience, I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and I live in Lisbon, Portugal since 2002.
As an Independent Producer, I have managed projects in positions such as:
- Main video content provider all-year-long for Boom Festival since 2007 - 2018.
- Video content provider for Banco de Portugal (Bank of Portugal) 2012 - 2014.
- Video content provider for Red Bull Portugal 2007 - 2008.
- Video editor for a Fox Television Africa series, Os Tunesa, 2016.
- Between 2007 and 2018, Ivan Goite directed and produced video projects for Mexican sculptor Rivelino in Mexico, Russia, The Netherlands, England, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.
On the other hand, Football, Martial Arts, Tennis, Indoor Sports, Beach Soccer, and Handball are, among others, sport specialties already covered by myself as a producer, during missions worldwide and working for broadcasters. I was born and raised in Venezuela, studied Mass Media and Broadcasting at the Catholic University in Caracas, with focus on TV journalism, followed by a TV production short-term course at the McLuhan Institute, University of Toronto.
From 2003 to 2005, I worked as correspondent in Portugal for the Spanish Service of BBC, BBC Mundo, dispatching reports on local sport events.
In 2017, for the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Turkmenistan, I was responsible for Post-production and Content Coordination of the daily Highlights –daily 54-minute press package for TV Worldwide.
I think I'm a strong and very experienced candidate, eligible for the positions of Director, Content Producer, Editor, with knowledges on Camera operations; and other duties related to journalism, video production and storytelling.
He speaks fluently Spanish, Portuguese and English.
