Burmese photographer and documentary filmmaker Thet Htoo, has covered political, ethnical, social and environmental issues in Myanmar for many years. This and other work has seen Thet featured extensively in The Myanmar Times, Financial Time, Wall Street Journal, Time.com, The Los Angeles Times, Global Voice, The Nation, AP, AFP, Retuters, Global Voice, Index on Censorship, Amnesty International, Vanity Fair, Look and many other international organisations as a photographer/videographer/filmmaker. His photography has also been widely exhibited. He is one of the participant of 7 Days in Myanmar: A Multimedia Showcase as one of the photographers of 30 internationally renowned photographers in April 2013. He is also one of the student from International Reporting Workshop 2014 led by Philip Blenkinsop and organized by Myanmar Deitta and Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HiOA, Norway) and Pathshala South Asian Media Institute (Bangladesh).
