I'm a freelance journalist who works in print and film. My work has appeared in the New York Times, National Geographic, and Vogue, and I recently directed a short documentary for Al Jazeera Close Up called Journey for Justice.
I was involved in all aspects of developing this project. I found the characters, developed the story, and wrote the script. I gathered and organized archival and original footage, and coordinated all aspects of the shoot.
I was the producer of this proposed reality show on female bull riders. In this role, I developed the story line, identified the characters, wrote the treatment and coordinated all aspects of the shoot.

I directed and produced this film, which included finding the story and characters , writing the treatment, and developing the script. I executed all aspects of pre-production including securing visas and locations, hotel rooms and transportation, and finding fixers.
