When crime hits the streets of Mexico City, photographer and reporter Valente Rosas and his colleagues rush to photograph the scene before the police and forensics unit arrive. In 1998, a couple blind men in Mexico City began playing soccer by kicking around a tin can. Fifteen years later, that pick-up game has evolved into a 6-team league that uses specially manufactured, audible balls in their weekly Sunday matches. Human bodies, parts of cars and dead animals. Claiming himself the only “waste water diver” in Mexico, Julio César Cu Cámara hops around Mexico City to remove items like these from the capital city’s drainage centers.
