I most recently worked for Deutsche Welle TV (Germany's international public broadcaster) in their Washington DC bureau doing filming, editing, audio, and post-production on ready-to-air TV reports for correspondents. I have international experience with technical organization and filming in Canada, Singapore, Philippines, Mexico as well as 25 states across the U.S. Previously I worked as a vision mixer and trainer at Deutsche Welle in Berlin, where I live-edited TV news and talk shows in production control room. I also taught mobile journalism courses as a trainer for DW News reporters. I have experience as a freelance videographer on commercial projects for companies including Wacom, Mömax, Qiez TV, Media Brothers, Drink and Draw, and Mediakraft.

Henning and Clare were excellent to work with - they understood our brief, pitched a great story idea and filmed a lovely video. The draft and feedback process was also easy and they were excellent at communicating. We'd love to work with them again.

Henning did an incredible job producing, shooting and editing the piece. The images they captured were incredible and the editing was stellar. The team was also super fast to respond to edits on the script and in the final video.

It's been ten years since the end of a brutal civil war in Sri Lanka. The end came in Mullivaikkal, near Jaffna, and it was there that thousands of civilians became trapped between an advancing Sri Lankan army and the separatist rebels. Some 146,000 people remain unaccounted for and are presumed dead. Tamils gathered in Mullivaikkal to remember those who died.
