About
Alessandro Melazzini was born in Sondrio (Italy) in 1974, graduated in economics from the Università Luigi Bocconi di Milano and holds a a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Heidelberg. In 1999, he moved to Germany and Munich is his city. As a German and Italian citizen, he is member of the German Documentary Association (AG DOK) and the German Federation of Journalists (DJV). Since 2003 he works as a freelance culture correspondent, since 2010 as a director and producer of documentary films with his production company Alpenway Media GmbH.
