About Katherine

Katherine is a freelance journalist by day and an extreme athlete by night (that is if you count Netflix marathons as an extreme sport). When she’s not starring at a screen she enjoys wandering, be it around her native home of Washington D.C. or in her adopted motherland of Africa. Katherine has turned her wanderlust into ‘wander-live,’ having traveled to over 25 countries and living on three different continents. For now she's living a double life as a freelance journalist and ballet dancer. Working for a number of publications including Marie Claire, The New York Times, US News & World Report and Dance Media, Katherine has a great deal of journalism experience and is excited to enlist her knack for writing in the hopes of encouraging others to pursue their dreams and change the world for the better.
