Altar to the Earth
Every person deals different with the threat that climate change brings. Some of us become activists, while others ignore the problem completely. Most of us feel powerless. According to climate psychologists our process of dealing with climate change is comparable to a proces of grieving. Recognizing your feelings of fear and seaking support with others can give us new hope and a deeper connection with the earth. A specific branch within 'climate grieving' is the word mournfullness. This thougth assumes that if you make the earth grievable, we will automatically give her more value. This new or extra value can help us see that we are a part of the world instead of ruler over.
