Born in Guatemala August 21, 1984. Industrial Engineer by education. Started photography as a hobby, then moved on to filmmaking after discovering the video function on the 5D Mk II. I Have shot documentaries, commercials and delivered news packages for clients as diverse as UNDP, Coca Cola, UNEP, TED, AFP, Al Jazeera, Oxfam, as well as grassroots NGOs in 40 countries from Somalia to Haiti over the last 10 years.

Deactivating Kenya’s Toxic Trolls | Al Jazzera Witness Documentary
Co-directed and shot this 25 minute long programme over the course of a month. Synopsis: Bullying is no longer confined to school playgrounds and workplaces. Concerned about her kids growing up in Kenya’s toxic cyberspace, banker-by-day Marjoline decides to launch an online kindness campaign. She rallies Kenya’s celebrities who have experienced unprecedented levels of cyberbullying. As she travels to schools, meets funders and counsels victims, Marjoline wrestles with her life as an activist. She founded the End Cyberbullying Association with dreams of making the online world safer. She is now determined to launch her Kuwa Mwema, Swahili for "Be Kind", campaign. Deactivating Kenya’s Toxic Trolls is a film by Mos Mwaniki.
