Hannah Joy Gebresilassie is an award-winning journalist, community advocate, media personality, videographer, photographer, motivational speaker and entrepreneur hailing from Atlanta, GA. In 2018, she transitioned from working as a multimedia television reporter to launching her own media platform, HannahJoyTV, along with the Promote Positivity Movement. Her mission is to share uplifting content and promote positivity worldwide. As the daughter of Ethiopian and Eritrean immigrants, she also created a globally-recognized brand inspired by peace initiatives between the two countries in 2018. Through her platform, she partners with organizations and does photography/video services for clients including the Atlanta Falcons. Hannah is a proud alumnus of Georgia State University, Georgia Tech and Northwestern University (Medill School of Journalism).
