After an inspiring scholarship in Storyhunter's headquarters in NYC in 2013, I have been producing audiovisual reports on social, environmental, and political issues around Europe and Central America while working with grassroots organizations and for independent media outlets. Storytelling journalism matches my passion for adventure and it allows me to stay curious and in constant learning, eager, and wondering wherever I am.

This short documentary project was shot in Occupied West Bank, Palestine, during a solidarity trip organized by Belgian ONG intal. Camera in hand and in the midst of the crowded checkpoint at rush hour, I decided to go in and capture images and soundbites to portrait the everyday situation of the Palestinians that have to cross it to go work.

This news report covers a demonstration within the "Week of solidarity and action for the Afghan refugees" in Brussels, December 2013. An afghan student had received a deportation order and the school organized a protest against it.
I was part of the official media team of Belgian multicultural Sfinks Mixed Festival in 2011 and 2012 editions. This video is one of the many I produced to broadcast the artists invited to the festival from all over the world, as the Awza band and their lifestyle as Touareg people.

With barely 6 months of filmmaking experience I embarked on documenting the beginning of a social garden in a controversial Brussels neighborhood, its first successes and emerging difficulties in making it work. The experience was, if not completely satisfied with the quality of the result, very useful to help me improve as 'one-woman-band' filmmaker.
This news video report was widely broadcast by DeWereldMorgen in 2010, right when UN had condemned the failure of Belgian government policy in assisting asylum seekers. I spent several days getting to know the asylum seekers and their situation and filming them in the places where they look for shelter while waiting for the government resolution on their case, resisting thanks to the help of engaged citizens.
