Luca was born in a small village next to Bergamo in the north of Italy. He is half Italian and half South American. He graduated from the University of Bologna with a master degree in cinema and multimedia productions in 2015. Later he studied three years at the Italian national school of cinema - Experimental Centre of Cinematography for the documentary, based in Palermo. At the moment, he lives in Berkeley, editing his first long doc film with an Italian production, therefore he's inclined to start soon new projects around the Bay Area.

A dense and foggy voyage throughout the shadow and light spaces of human existence. A descent to the dark side, paranoid and hostile, which affects the life of a limited group of people. A drifting world in which the presence of the US military base is the main cause of feelings of anxiety in the characters, triggering reactions that influence their lifestyle. The camera moves from technologically advanced humanity to the intimacy of their homes, marked by existential questions.
Travelling on the Aquarius boat from Sicily to the international waters of the Mediterranean Sea. On board with Sos Méditerranée and Doctors Without Borders (MSF) for saving lives.
