About

Jean-Marc is a Lebanese-Quebec director and cinematographer who grew up in Ontario in the French-speaking community. His mission is to serve the film by giving life to his vision as a director, but above all by maintaining a benevolent and welcoming posture with the team and the people who participate in his projects. He is a solid and inspiring beacon. His leitmotiv is to constantly evolve his practice beyond his comfort zone by exploring new styles and using new techniques in order to create the best images to serve the story. In addition to directing hats and photo direction, Jean-Marc has a long track record in editing. He brings both his expertise and his very personal perspective to the projects in which he participates. He approaches each project with fresh eyes. What motivates him the most is to be exposed to ideas and proposals that he would not have considered himself! He has worked as director of photography on seven feature documentaries, seven series and documentary films for television, directed and edited two feature documentaries, in addition to having produced, directed and edited a multitude of short films for a wide range of customers.
