My name is Manny Casais, I am a creative Director of Photography, editor, field producer and still photographer. I have over 20 years of progressive experience shooting for television, entertainment, travel and exploration. I enjoy shooting a diverse range of material, from short documentaries to major news events as wells as branded content for clients. My clients include: CNBC, ABC, Group Nine Media, Telemundo Network, Univision Network, CBS and Tima.
This Reel is comprised of different News events I filmed across the US for Telemundo's #1 magazine show "Al Rojo Vivo". I was the Field Producer, Videographer and Editor.
Indigenous lands in the Brazilian Amazon jungle were ravished by arson fires at an alarming rate during the dry summer months of 2019. After getting permission from the tribal leader, I headed as a one-man band to the Huwa Karu Yuxibu cultural center of Acre in Brazil, which had been set ablaze. I was allowed to stay for a week to tell their story and better understand the complex situation.
This Reel showcases different lighting techniques for sit-down interviews, Live remotes and feature stories that aired on CNBC. I was the Camera Operator and lighting director.
