Fitbit CEO and co-founder James Park shares how the company attracted 25 million users across 86 countries in less than 10 years. Follow the lives of two Disneyland employees who have to work multiple jobs in order to afford living in or around Anaheim. One of the workers, a makeup artist, has been homeless the majority of her time as a Disneyland employee. The other, a night-shift custodian, is forced to skip meals to stay afloat. This is the true story of "The Happiest Place on Earth." Los Angeles’s housing market is in crisis. Low-income communities of color across the city are facing mass displacement. On Burlington Ave., one landlord has raised rents on nearly 200 families by up to 40% while the building remains in a state of extreme disrepair. And in response the Burlington tenants have initiated the largest rent strike in LA history. This is their story. In the last few years, Juul has rapidly expanded its market share for e-cigarettes, now accounting for 60 percent of the market. Stanford professor Robert Jackler, principal investigator in Stanford Research into the Impact of Tobacco Advertising, weighs in on the growing popularity of e-cigarettes among young people. Mass shootings in America are getting deadlier and happening more frequently all the time. And if it feels like they've taken hold like a virus, it might be because they actually have.

About David
I'm a documentarian and video journalist based in San Francisco. I've been working to produce high-quality video for the past decade focusing on conflict and social movements. My work has taken me across the globe including the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Europe, and all over the US. I like to find stories not yet told, and at the very least exploring new dimensions. The subjects must have social relevancy and not only draw attention to the subject, but also highlight how those affected are responding, reacting, and challenging their conditions. I don't like to sensationalize a story. I seek to analyze its roots and look at the broader implications of whatever conflict I may be addressing. I believe that video is one the most effective and dynamic mediums to transmit information, and I attempt to utilize it to its full potential. I'm proud of what I've produced and am anxious to pursue new opportunities to create new works with Storyhunter.
